Local Atlantic Ave developer wins award

Congrats to Barbara Koz Paley, who’s Atlantic Gardens (north side of Atlantic between 3rd and 4th) won one of just 12 awards in the 2008 Annual Building Brooklyn Awards – for projects in Brooklyn “which have a significant impact on Brooklyn.”

Atlantic Gardens (mixed-use) involving eight contiguous renovated buildings with retail spaces and residential above at 525-535 Atlantic Ave. in Boerum Hill, where a 5,000-square-foot common rear-yard garden was also created. (“It’s available to rent for $500,” said developer Barbara Koz Paley.)
